About Us

Making Psychology Accessible for Everyone

Ag Verd is an educational platform that brings psychological knowledge to Canadian adults through structured programs, practical exercises and clearly written resources. We believe understanding human behaviour starts with clear explanations and responsible content.

Our Platform

Who We Are

Ag Verd B.V. was established in 2023 as an educational organization dedicated to bringing psychology out of academic textbooks and into everyday conversations. We develop learning programs, exercises and articles that help adults understand emotions, habits, motivation, communication and decision-making.

Based in Haarlem, Netherlands, our platform serves Canadian adults who want to learn about psychology in an educational setting. We work with specialists in educational psychology, communication and personal development to create content that is accurate, accessible and practical.

Our resources are available in English with French-language materials in development to serve learners across all Canadian provinces and territories.

To make psychological knowledge accessible through structured programs, practical exercises and clear educational materials. We aim to help people understand their thoughts, emotions and behaviours so they can make more informed choices in everyday life.

Educate

Present psychology concepts in plain language, making them understandable to people without a technical background.

Apply

Provide practical exercises and worksheets that help learners connect theory to their daily experiences and routines.

Respect

Maintain responsible content standards. We never diagnose, promise outcomes or replace the role of qualified healthcare professionals.

Intellectual Honesty

We present established knowledge accurately and acknowledge the limits of education.

Inclusive Communication

Our language is welcoming to all adults regardless of age, culture or education level.

Practical Education

Theory is always paired with exercises you can apply in real-world situations.

Personal Responsibility

Our Approach

How We Teach Psychology

Our educational approach is built on three principles: clarity, structure and practical application. Every program follows a consistent format that helps learners build understanding step by step.

Clear Explanations

Concepts are introduced in plain language, with examples drawn from everyday Canadian life. No unnecessary jargon, no academic prerequisites.

Structured Modules

Each program is divided into focused modules that build on each other. Learners progress at their own pace through a logical sequence of topics.

Hands-On Exercises

Every module includes worksheets, reflection prompts or observation exercises that connect theory to personal experience.

Review and Reflection

Programs include review checkpoints that help learners consolidate knowledge and assess their own progress without external testing.

Important Distinction

Education, Coaching and Therapy

Understanding the differences helps you choose the right support for your needs.

What We Teach

Educational Psychology in Practice

Our platform covers key areas of psychology that are relevant to everyday life, personal growth and communication.

Emotional Awareness

Understanding emotions is central to how people interact with others and make decisions. Our programs teach learners to recognize emotional responses, expand their emotional vocabulary and reflect on how feelings influence behaviour. These skills are valuable in work, family and social settings.

Habits and Routines

How daily habits form, why some stick and others fade, and how to observe your own patterns with curiosity rather than judgement.

Motivation

Internal and external motivation, realistic goal setting, understanding barriers and reviewing progress without pressure.

Communication

Active listening, constructive feedback, non-verbal signals, navigating difficult conversations and setting personal boundaries.

Decision-Making

Cognitive biases, thinking errors, risk perception and how personal values shape the choices people make every day.

Learning Formats

Flexible Online Learning

All programs and resources are available online, allowing learners to study from anywhere in Canada. Our materials are designed for self-paced learning, which means you decide when and how much time to spend on each module.

Our Standards

1

Evidence-informed content

Programs and articles are based on established psychological principles. We distinguish between well-supported findings and emerging research.

2

No diagnostic claims

We never suggest that learners have a specific psychological condition, nor do we offer assessments that could be mistaken for clinical evaluations.

3

No guaranteed outcomes

Learning outcomes vary from person to person. We present tools and knowledge, but personal growth depends on individual effort, circumstances and time.

4

Clear scope of service

Every program page clearly states that our content is educational. Disclaimers are visible, not hidden, and guide learners to professional help when appropriate.

5

Respectful language

We avoid fear-based, shame-based or sensationalized language. Our tone is calm, supportive and empowering without being manipulative.
